Helping Out Louisville Preschool

There are many ways to help Louisville Preschool, often by simply shopping our local merchants!  Funds generated by participation in any of our fundraising events or in conjunction with our partners go directly back to the school in the form of tuition assistance, professional development, and capital improvements.  Below is a list of participating merchants and on-going/special events.

Kohl’s
The school has Kohl’s for Kids gift cards on-hand in several denominations.  They are available at face value and can be used as gifts, for purchases at the store, or even as payment on your Kohl’s account.  The school benefits financially based on our bulk purchase of the cards.  

Grandrabbits Toy Shoppe (both locations)
Grandrabbit’s will donate 10% of the value of your purchase to the preschool if you mention our name when checking out.  Each January, the school is awarded “Bunny Bucks” to use for books and materials.

Precision Plumbing and Heating
This company donates $1000 a month to local non-profits!  The organization is chosen based on the number of e-votes received for that month, with only one vote per email address allowed.  Votes are cast by going to their web-site at www.precisionplumbing.com and writing in the Louisville Preschool as your non-profit choice.  Since this is a monthly donation from Precision, your once-a-month vote could mean a hefty gift to the preschool.

Scholastic Book Clubs
Each time you order books from Scholastic book clubs the school earns points.  These points are then used for books and classroom materials.  We typically send out order forms three times a year.  New this year will be on-line ordering; details to follow with our first order.

Watch your monthly newsletters for information on these special nights to connect with families.

Silent Auction
This has become an annual event for us and by far our biggest fundraiser.  It’s never too early to begin the solicitation process, so if you have any connections to local businesses, please mention our name!  As a non-profit organization there are tax advantages to those who donate goods and services as well as to those who are the winning bidders.
